This is a shot of my dad’s corn at sunset. He didn’t feel well today and in fact spent a good part of the day at the doctor’s office, but that didn’t stop him from going out to the garden at the end of the day. If my brother hadn’t been there to do the watering for him, I’m sure he would have done it himself no matter how high his temperature was.
As it happened, we did manage to get him to sit down and supervise.
Here he is telling us how it’s done. He’s very good at that.
The corn was pretty in the evening sun, but it was the blueberries we were up to our ears in tonight. I think we’ve planted a variety that produces three new berries for every one picked.
