Big day today with birthday parties for four boys and a dog. Annie got a new bone for her birthday. I lost count of what the boys got. I just know that I’ve had too much fun today to even think about making a resolution journal post. Monday morning will be soon enough to take some responsibility. Today was my day off.
I did go for two walks today, however. The first was with a birthday boy who warned me to carry a stick into the woods in case I had to kill a wolf. He had called the wolves, but lucky for me none of them answered. The second walk was with Annie the Big Girl Dog. The pedometer said we went two miles, but it was at least four miles worth of work. She was a little on the overexcited side, and she wasn’t even the one who had gorged herself on cake today.
