I decided to test out the tips in this Mashable article with a photo of my own today. All of these effects, I might add, were done using free online tools that are extremely easy to navigate. You absolutely do not have to be a Photoshop expert to try this at home.

Usually, I’m a straight-out-of-the-camera girl, but this has been an interesting exercise. It’s great to know there are so many photo effects options out there from free sites. I think I might always prefer my pictures with minimal processing, but I’m definitely going to do a little more exploring on the photo editing sites.
